1978 : "One Love Peace Concert", Kingston, Jamaïque.

Concert au cours duquel Bob Marley et Peter Tosh
réussissent à faire monter sur la scène les deux principaux opposants
politiques de l'ile, Michael Manley (premier ministre issu du People's
National Party) et Edward Seaga (du Jamaican Labour Party). Ce concert
avait pour but de faire prendre conscience de l'état de guerre civile
dans lequel se trouvait le ghetto de Kingston, du fait de la guerre des
gangs du ghetto de Kingston, en partie financée par les deux partis
politiques jamaïcains de l'époque.
